What is a CT Scan?
In medicine Computed Tomography (CT Scan) is used to study the internal organs of the human body. CT uses X-Rays and computers to produce thins slices of the human body with great detail.
During a CT scan the patient lies on the examination table and moves through the donut shaped scanner. The examination is very brief and without safety the limitations of the MRI.
Our center has a Philips Ingenuity 128 slices CT scanner which was installed in October 2021. It is a state-of-the-art scanner capable to perform all kinds of examinations with exceptional quality.
In this system we can perform all range of CTs from simple examinations to complicated angiographies and CT of the Heart.
